Guidewire Software Receives Four Vanguards in Insurance Practices (VIP) Awards for Solutions and Services

Guidewire Software®, a leading provider of flexible core systems to property/casualty insurers, today announced that it has received four Vanguards in Insurance Practices (VIP) Awards. The VIP Awards are sponsored by Insurance Networking News (INN) in partnership with Celent and were announced and presented at the recent ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum in San Diego. The VIP award winners were determined by the insurer users of technology through their participation in an online survey where they were asked to choose their preferred technology provider in five VIP categories.

Winning recognition in four out of the five categories, Guidewire’s 2011 VIP awards included: 

• First Place recognition in both the Insurance Vertical Solutions and IT Services categories
• Second Place recognition in both Insurance Horizontal Solutions and Platform Technology categories

This year is the fifth annual VIP ranking of technology solution providers to the insurance industry. 2011 winners were chosen based on votes received by 2,200 executives and staff from 469 North American insurance companies.
